Large turnout for weigh-in

A large crowd gathered at the Lale’s Service Station in Nadi to witness the weigh-in of fighters who will participate in the Westwood Boxing program tomorrow.

Junior “The Razor” Ali, who will take on Ulaiasi Qalomai in the main bout weighed in at 60 kilograms while his opponent weighed in 9kg heavier.

In the supporting bout, Joseph Kwajo weighed in at 78.2 kilograms while his opponent, Joe Naleca weighed in 5 kg heavier.

The extra-supporting bout sees upcoming fighter, Sebastian Singh taking on Etuate Kofi.

Tickets are still being sold at Digicel stores in Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka at $25 each for ringside seats and $15 each for pavilion seats.

The boxing program will start at 4pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park.
