More than 150 horses are expected to compete at the Namosau Horse Racing competition in Ba next month.

Speaking to FBC Sports, Ba Town Council CEO, Dip Narayan says the tournament will have horses from as far as Rakiraki and Sigatoka competing in the newly constructed race track.

The event will be held in conjunction with the opening of the new venue.

Fixtures are expected to be drawn on the 19th of December and the race will be held the following day.
