The Lami Football side will feature in the Courts IDC Senior division semifinal next week.

The side defeated Tailevu Naitasiri 1-0 in its final pool match at ANZ Stadium this morning.

Lami Football Coach Deepak Chand says they need to work on few areas before coming into the semifinal.

“We have won three games and need to be focused so that we can reach the semifinal.”

The side earlier defeated Savusavu 4-nil and then thumped Rakiraki 7-nil. The semifinals will be held on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in another match played this morning, defending champions Nadroga beat Taveuni 6-2 in its last pool match.

Nadroga bagged six points and will feature in next week’s semifinals.
