Fiji Football Association has commended the effort shown by national coach, Frank Farina in developing the sport in the country.
National Under-17 Coach, Shalend Lal is impressed by the way the national teams have grown since Farina took over the helm earlier this year and expects more improvement on the field next year.
“We are developing players at the same time, we are also developing coaches. As one of this new structure with Frank Farina coming in as our national coach. I think he is giving more emphasis in developing coaches so that we can develop better players for our teams in future.”
Meanwhile, Lal will be selecting the final Under 17 national squad to the Oceania Nations Cup after the final of the Ultimate Fiji Soccer Cup on Sunday.
