Labasa to face Suva in IDC Semi-final

The Labasa football side qualified as pool leaders after defeating Ba 2-0 in their last pool match last night.

They bagged nine points and will play Suva who is the runner up of the other pool.

Coach Johan Leewai says the players will go through a recovery session today and they will come with a well-structured game plan to counter Suva.

“As for now we won our pool and all I can say that we need to work more on our discipline from the cards we got in our last two games.”

Suva coach Gurjit Singh says they will come prepare for Labasa.

“We have to be prepared and we will do our best and try to win the final. We need a good rest for the boys and there is a lot of fatigue.”

Labasa plays Suva at 2.30pm tomorrow.
