February 26, 2018 5:27 pm

The Labasa football team aims to work on their fitness before taking on Ba in the Vodafone Premier League match on Saturday at Subrail Park.

The Babasiga Lions have the upper hand of scooping another win at their home ground after beating Tavua 5-2 last weekend.

Labasa football coach Bal Sanju Reddy says despite having the home ground advantage, Ba will be a tough team to beat.

“Fitness is still my concern because I think it’s too hot and also at times we have slippery conditions and we need the right boot for the weather but I think the boys are geared up for the match against Ba.”

Labasa takes on Ba at 1.30pm at Subrail Park and then plays Dreketi on the following day at the same time.

In the other match Suva plays Tavua, 3pm at Garvey Park on Sunday.
