The Labasa football side edged Suva 1-nil at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament today.
The teams rested tied nil-all at half-time as Jonetani Buksh got the winner in the 10the minute of the second spell.
In earlier matches, Ba and Rewa played to a nil-all draw, Lautoka thumped Dreketi 5-1 while Nadi beat Rakiraki 3-nil.
Looking at the points table,Lautoka leads Group A with six points,Ba and Rewa follow on a point each while Dreketi is yet to register a point.
In Group B, Nadi and Labasa have three points each with Suva and Rakiraki on zero.
In matches tomorrow, Dreketi battles Ba at 2pm, Nadi takes on Suva at 12pm, Labasa takes on Rakiraki at 4pm while Lautoka battles Rewa at 6pm.
