Labasa await TN challenge

The Labasa football side will not take Tailevu Naitasiri lightly when the two teams meet in the first round of the Vodafone Fiji Fact this weekend.

Labasa coach Bal Sanju Reddy says they have played the premier league newcomers twice this year and managed to escape with two close victories.

Reddy adds the side is sweating on a medical clearance from doctors for star striker, Joseph Mishra for an injury sustained at the Sanatan tournament in Ba last month.

The Labasa team has arrived into the capital yesterday.

The Babasiga Lions face Tailevu Naitasiri at 2pm at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park this Sunday while at 4pm Rewa plays Suva.

On the same day in Ba, defending champions Jacks Nadi play Nadroga at 2pm while at 4pm Ba takes on Lautoka.
