Melbourne Storm and Vodafone Fiji Bati winger, Marika Koroibete believes 2016 will be a good year for him in the NRL competition in Australia.
The Namosi lad scored 16 tries for the Storm this year; eight tries behind the top try-scorer, Semi Radradra of the Parramatta Eels.
Koroibete, who is in the country for a week, says the stiff competition amongst the Storm squad for places in the run-on team means he is always looking to better his performance each year.
“I just want to remain consistent in my performance next year. I want to lift my standard up a bit and hopefully I do my part in doing that and everything will fall into place.”
Koroibete visited patients at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital Children’s Ward in Suva this morning, handing out t-shirts and rugby league balls.
He will return to Australia tomorrow to continue his off-season training with the Melbourne Storm.
