Olympic gold-medal-winning Captain Osea Kolinisau is looking forward to don the Covenant Blues jersey again when they face Police Blues in the semi-finals of the Escott Shield this today.

Kolinisau says it would be unwise for Police to focus solely on him during the match, as there are other exceptional players in the team.

“I think it would be a big mistake just to mark one man as I have always told the boys if you mark one man it will give an opportunity for another player to shine for us and us working on that trying to get the boys on the same level and work on our game plan.”

His inclusion is expected to be a major boost for the team.

The Covenant Blues take on defending champions the Police Blues at 9:40am today at Suva’s Bidesi Park.
