Melbourne Rebels Under-18 Coach, Anare Koliavu is urging rugby specialists in the country to reach out to the remote areas and educate them about the sport in order to move Fiji Rugby to the next level.

At a recent rugby clinic in Levuka, the former Western Force rep took time out to educate school students on the basic knowledge and skills of rugby.

“If you want to move Fiji Rugby to the next level, we’ve got to start educating and start making people aware of all of these things. And that is why this is great, this is not in Suva or Nadi- our main towns. This is out in Ovalau. People are coming from all over to this little Island to learn of these things.”

Koliavu was joined by former national 7s assistant coach, Etuate Waqa and former Fiji Bati rep, Jone Wesele at the week-long rugby clinic.
