The New Zealand Fijian rugby league team has come prepared to face Fiji in the Tagitupou Challenge.

Team spokesperson, Dylan Datt says they have been training for three months and know Fiji will not be easy to beat.

Datt says the players are ready.

“Everyone’s very excited to be coming home and playing against some local clubs like the Lami Steelers and the Saru Dragons. We are interested to see what they have to offer on the field.”

The NZ-Fijians are expected to undergo a training run at Albert Park this morning.
