King Irving Cup not sanctioned by Fiji FA

The Fiji Football Association has today stated it has not approved or sanctioned the King Irving Cup between Suva and Rewa.

Fiji FA chief executive Bob Kumar says the two teams had requested to play the game.

However, he adds they did not see any reason or justification on the game being played.

Kumar says with the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National League starting this weekend and Suva being involved in the Pillay Garments CVC, there was no need for the game to be played at the moment.
