Players in the Vodafone Fiji side will need to lift their performance if they are to match the Vanuatu side in the OFC Futsal Championships.

Fiji went down to New Caledonia 5-1 in their first match yesterday and Coach Intiaz Khan was disappointed with the display by some of the players.

“The only downfall was that players did not open up as I was expecting. Even the best players that I was counting on, they didn’t perform and that was a big downfall so I am just worried as to what happened to them. It just nervousness. I think they did not open till the end of the whole 40 minutes."
