Kea bird predicts World Cup results

July 6, 2018 4:31 am

A kea bird in small Paris zoo has become the latest member of the animal kingdom to turn its hand, or beak in this case, to predicting World Cup results.

TVNZ reports, Newton, a Parisian parrot predicts France will beat Uruguay in tomorrow morning’s quarter-final.

So far Newton has correctly predicted Sweden’s win over Switzerland, but failed to call England’s historic penalty shoot-out victory.
