Kadavu plans ahead for Chow Games

Kadavu school athletes are already making preparations for the Chow Games in August.

Four schools are currently taking part in the Nabukelevu kaji rugby and netball competition today at the Nabukelevu-i-Ra District school grounds today.

Competitions organiser, Sunia Tuilau says they have set their target to prepare and send a bigger group of athletes to the games this year.

“The reason for us to take our team to Suva is to give them a taste of what happening in the main land, most of them are play rugby, watch rugby, but they haven’t played in front of their friends in the big ground like one in Suva.

Tuilau adds they will select their players after today’s competition to represent Kadavu next month.
