Joshua weighs in almost two stones heavier than Povetkin

Anthony Joshua weighed in at 17 stone 8lbs 5 ounces ahead of his title fight against Alexander Povetkin at Wembley.

The IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight faced his Russian counterpart for the last time at the weigh-in in Islington ahead of the fight.

Telegraph.co.uk reports, Povetkin weighed in almost two stones lighter than Joshua at 15st 12lbs.

A confident-looking Joshua went face-to-face with Povetkin at the weigh-in 24 hours before the title fight.

“Everything, left and but not only that, it’s how tough they are, how much they want it because you can have the best attributes and look at me, tall, rangy. If I don’t want to fight I’m not going to give so If I keep punching and break him down, his attributes is to shut him down.”
