Johnny Dyer continues fine form for Fiji Drua

Former Flying Fijian and Fiji Drua number 8 Johnny Dyer has been a standout performer in the National Rugby Championship this season.

As the Drua head into the semifinal this weekend against Canberra Vikings, Dyer leads the NRC stats with the most turnovers.

The former Vatukoula player made 25 turnovers in 7 games.

Dyer’s efforts is reflected on the overall turnovers for the Drua which is 77 in total which is the most by a team this season along with Brisbane City.

Johnny Dyer, Epeli Radaniva and Tevita Naqali are 3 of the top 5 players with the most number of carries.

Dyer has also beaten 30 defenders this season.

The Drua also tops the stats in running metres with 4089 and they are also the best attacking team with 116 line breaks and as expected the Senirusi Seruvakula coached side leads the offloading charts with 82.

Fiji Drua have copped 3 yellow cards,conceded 78 penalties and missed 211 tackles with Eremasi Radordro and Poasa Waqanibau missing 18 tackles each.

The Drua have scored a total of 33 tries this year and they will meet Canberra Vikings at 4pm in the second NRC semifinal on Sunday.
