Defending champion of the Fiji International, Steve Jeffries is finding it difficult to defend his title this year at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course in Sigatoka.
The Australian had a slow start yesterday, carding 76, but is confident of a better performance today.
“Looking at the scores, it’s probably not too bad to start. I haven’t blamed myself out of it, I’m still right there going in the next few days.”
Jeffries is two shots off the lead on 4 over.
Seven-time PGA Tour winner, Matt Kuchar shares the lead of 2 over par with
Nick Cullen, Daniel Nisbet, Alistair Presnell and R.J Caracella.
Fiji’s Vijay Singh is yet to take the field today and is five shots off the lead, after carding 78 yesterday.
