Italy tackle a few Fiji challenges

June 2, 2014 4:57 am

The Italy rugby team is here and they’re ready to take on the Flying Fijians at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Saturday.

Italy rugby team manager Giovanni Trioani says ahead of the match though, they’ve got a few challenges to get used to.

“We know it will be a very tough match for us. The last Test in Italy in November, Fiji played very well. We won just by five points but we know it will be very difficult here because the weather is not our weather in Italy. It is very warm and humid here and that will make things difficult on Saturday. There are also some new players we want to test their capacity as prospects for the next World Cup.”
