Cuvu College’s long term plan has finally come to fruition after their U18 team qualified to the final of the Powerade Super Deans competition.
The College formed its first U18 team in 2015 and despite failing to appear in the final.
School Principal, Navneet Mishra says this is just the beginning of their journey towards success.
“Students of Cuvu College, staff board, coaches and management team and fans thank you very much for the commitment and it is not over then and Cuvu will be back this week.”
The Westerners beat Marist Brothers High School 12-10 in the first semi-final last Saturday.
Cuvu plays RKS in the under 18 final at Suva’s ANZ Stadium this Saturday.
Meanwhile, in the under 14 grade, RKS plays QVS, LMS play RKS in the under 15 category, RKS battles QVS in the under 16 division, LMS meets QVS in the under 17 grade while RKS to play LMS in the under 19 category.
