Island cricket teams impress: Rika

The island teams from Lau have really impressed at the LICI Cricket Fiji Easter Championships at Albert Park in Suva.

That is the view of development manager for Cricket Fiji, Jo Rika at the end of the quarter finals this afternoon.

“What I can say is that all teams from the Lau group this year have impressed a lot. They’ve impressed a lot with their skill level. There’s a lot of potential with some of the youth that is coming up through the ranks in these teams. But I must say that the island teams that have come in have shown a lot of promise, they’ve got to be the team that’s improved a lot in the last year.”
