Ireland beats Flying Fijians

Ireland survived a late kick from Ian Keatley to beat the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians 23-20 this morning.

Fiji’s tries came from Henry Seniloli and Timoci Nagusa, the former Ulster winger, intercepted at the second attempt and raced under the post while Ben Volavola converted 10 points through conversions and penalties.

The Irish scored three tries which came from Darren Sweetnam, Ian Keatley and Jack Conan.

Meanwhile, Fiji had won four of their previous five Tests and had loss their second November test match.

In other test match results, Argentina beat Italy 31-15, Wales edged Georgia 13-6, and England outclassed Australia 30-6, New Zealand beat Scotland 22-17 while South Africa is currently playing France.
