The Vodafone Roll Ball Fiji side was thrashed 32-nil by Iran in their opening match of the Roll Ball World Cup in India yesterday.

The Sandeep Prakash-led side were a walkover for World Number 2, Iran.

Fiji did have a default win over Rwanda, after the latter failed to turn up for the tournament.

The side has qualified for the last 16 playoffs.

This is the first time a Fijian team is participating at a Roll Ball World Cup.
