International Cricket Council impressed with Fiji

The International Cricket Council have been impressed with Fiji and believes it has been exciting three days during the East Asia T20 qualifiers at Albert Park in Suva.

ICC tournament Director Rob Goom says bringing the competition to Fiji is chance to grow the game in the region.

“Why the point of view, we love bringing cricket out to our members raise the profile of the sport as much as we can and we love having the support from various stakeholders so this is a reason we love to cricket games out here like places in Fiji.”

Fiji will play Samoa in a do or die match for the second place at 1:30 pm while PNG will take on Vanuatu at the same time at Albert Park.
