Only one national team will play in the final of the Macuata 7’s in Labasa even though both the Fiji teams won their semi finals.
In the semi-finals today, Fiji I defeated Wardens Gold 28-5 while Fiji 2 defeated Wardens Green 24-10.
National reps Eminoni Nasilasila and Donasio Ratubuli have been rushed to the hopistal after the semi-finals as both players were badly injured.
Ratubuli was later diagnosed with w broken leg.
There will be a combined national team in the final who will take on a combined Wardens team.
Coach Ben Ryan is expected to field a second string team to avoid any further injuries.
Ryan will name his reduced 16 member team tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the final of the Macuata 7’s is underway between Combined Fiji team and Combined Wardens team.
