Quayle finished on 275, while Els shot a seven-under 65 to tie for third with New Zealand’s Ben Campbell. Both finished on 12-under 276.

Bhulla says it was tough competition as the weather was at at his favour.

“It was windy and the flags were tough. I think I played really well and I gave myself many opportunities today. The key was I got into the game with a really good start which kept me going.”
