Fifteen year old, Aliza Hussain has commended her parents’ support towards her preparation for the upcoming Under 17 Oceania Women’s Football Championship Qualifiers, next month.

The year 10 student of Kamil Muslim College represented Ba at the Women’s Inter- District Championships.

Hussain says it was through their support, she managed to make the cut for the national squad.

“My parents like they really support me in everything I do during my studies as in balancing with Sports were like really tough but they help me manage it. They really supported me.”

The OFC U17 Championships will be held in the Cook Islands from the 13th to the 23rd of January.
