The Grants Betting House says they will be expecting a good turnout come next Tuesday as the hype for the 2019 Melbourne Cup continues to build.

Grants Betting General Manager Vijendra Sundar says this is not new for them as many people like to try their luck during the annual event.

He adds that people should not hesitate to try their luck next week.

Melbourne Cup is basically same for us but people got a lot of interest, especially when they want to bet a little amount to watch their horse run and be part of the cup.

The final 24 horses competing in the Melbourne Cup have yet to be confirmed.

The Melbourne Cup race commences next Tuesday.
