Guest players to feature for Nadi at Pacific Cup

Jack’s Nadi Football President, Navneeda Goundar confirms that the district will be fielding guest players from New Zealand at the Pacific Cup in Auckland later this month.

This is apart from the current squad that featured for the team at the Courts IDC, last month.

Goundar adds the addition of overseas-based players will boost the side’s chances in the competition.

“We are looking for players to represent us and we can only take sixteen. For officials that will travel, we need two or three extra player. We will try and get them from New Zealand as guest players.”

Nadi will compete alongside Rewa, Lautoka and Suva in the Pacific Cup tournament from the 18th -22nd of this month at the Bill McKinley Park in Auckland.
