Good news for Cricketers

Cricket Fiji is serious about their affiliations and is taking care of its players.

Cricket Fiji Chief Executive Sonny Henderson says they have to be professional in order to be seen at the top.

“We now have a national coach so he’ll be employed as an employee so it’ll be a pay role because before it was a volunteer job so he’ll be on contract and more good news is that the players will also be on contract. So it’s a lot more professional it will be.”

He adds that only through this way will it attract more people and enhance the welfare of the sport.

EPL trials continue this weekend at Albert Park…After a six week trial; a final team will be selected on the 20th of October for a prelude match in NZ.
