The Vodafone Fiji Futsal side failed to impress on its recent New Zealand tour with only one win in six matches.
However, Fiji Football Association Media Officer, Avikash Chand says they are satisfied with the exposure gained from the tour.
“The team’s performance was good, even though they lost most of their matches, it was a good experience for the boys as this was the first time they played together.”
The side managed one win out of six matches played on tour but have gained the much needed exposure.
This tour was the first for majority of the national reps and Chand says they are expected to improve from here on.
The team conceded 33 goals and scored seven on the tour with a forward player playing as goal keeper.
Trials will be held to select some more players before the OFC Futsal Championships next February in Suva.
