The design of the Natadola Golf Course has been given the thumbs up by golfers who will take part in the inaugural Fiji International from tomorrow in Sigatoka.

The course designed by Fijian and former world number one, Vijay Singh, has attracted 120 international players for the four-day tournament.

Australian, Brendan Jones, who will be playing in the tournament, says he is excited with the course.

“Look I think so. I am not course designer but visually the course looks spectacular and I believe its part of enjoyment and the good design is liking what you looking at. Some magnificent view around here and if I hit a few in the bush I might not say it’s a good design but it’s a reflection of my game. But look it is a wonderful piece of land he has done a very good job.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, officially opened the tournament last night.
