Veteran sports administrator Vidya Lakhan is the new Golf Fiji President.

He was nominated unopposed as President at a Special General Meeting held at Denarau Golf & Racquet Club recently.

Lakhan who is also the Pacific Games Council President brings with him great leadership with his vast involvement and experience in all sports both locally and internationally.

Other Golf Fiji Executive Board members include Amitesh Chandra, Kevin McCarthy, Graham Venkataya, and Rohit Chandra.

The Executive Board has plans to implement ways to promote and develop the sport of golf nation-wide as a sport for ALL, focusing on both the youth and the high performing athletes.

Eight exciting National Tournaments run by Golf Fiji is planned for the 2020 season while Member Clubs will run all District Open Championships sanctioned by Golf Fiji.
