Georgia forwards could be tough for Fiji

November 18, 2012 3:59 am

Fiji will have to improve its forward play if they intend to take on Georgia and beat them next weekend in their last match of the Europe tour.

National coaching director Frank Boivert has highlights that there is no quick fix to Fiji’s scrum woes.

Scrum work is long term, it’s something you have build on from year to year. Therefore all they can do now, is use some tricks by having a very quick put it and having the No.8 at channel one so that he can get teh abll out as quick as possible. Now this is not possible on the oppositions put it so the only they can do is to twist the scrum to destabalise the footwork of the opposition and this is all they can do to try and salvage something in scrum situations.
