Opposition MP Viliame Gavoka has asked the Minister for Sports Laisenia Tuitubou in parliament today, if he can table a motion on the “Cibi” to be performed by any national sport in any sporting event.

Gavoka says that the Cibi should become more current and more appealing and in the same line with the New Zealanders who perform the Haka.

“I spoke about this last month about graduating table for Cibi into something more national that everyone in Fiji can perform out in any sporting events. Same with the Haka by the All Blacks which can be performed by any kid in New Zealand.”

In responding, Tuitubou says he will be taking this into consideration.
