The Vodafone National Club Championship zone play-offs kicked-off today at the Fiji FA Academy grounds in Suva and Ba.

Nasinu’s Friends United made a powerful start thumping Nakasi Lions 7-nil in the first match while Suva’s Combine Brothers which had the services of Laisenia Raura defeated Buiduna of Tailevu Naitasiri by 1-nil.

In the Western Zone, Nadi’s Gandhi Lions thumped Nadroga’s Cameroon 9-nil while Yalalevu beat Service Sports 6-1.

The games continue tomorrow and only four teams from each zone will qualify to the final play-off at Fiji FA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
