Fiji Football Coach Christophe Gamel will not be releasing his players to participate in the Pacific Cup Competition in the future.
Gamel says he wasn’t happy with the performance of the teams that took part in the tournament in New Zealand.
“I was thinking, I am not going to release my players in the future in this competition if the results are like this, Lautoka won but I didn’t like their mentality so we will have a meeting on that.”
In last night’s matches, Lautoka football side secured its second win beating AFFA Savusavu All Stars 1 nil in the Pacific Cup that is currently underway in New Zealand.
Defending champions suffered a loss on the third day of the competition, going down to NZFFI Auckland All Stars by 2 nil.
Meanwhile, Labasa football was handed its second loss after being thumped 3 nil by NZFFI All Stars.
NZFFI North Shore held Rewa nil all on the third day of the tournamemt.
In tomorrow’s matches Lautoka takes on Auckland at 4pm and Nadi plays Manukau at 5.15pm.
