The Fiji Pearls say their hunger to win all the remaining games in the World Netball Championships is leading them to victories in matches.

The side beat Scotland 48-42 in its last pool match in the Tier Two competition and remains in contention of a ninth place finish.

Fijian goal shooter, Taraima Rara-Mitchell, says it’s all about working according to the game plan.

“Our coach always does her homework as well before every game. So we came out knowing that they were going to come out and they wanted to win as well. We both wanted to win so it just came down to who played better and did little mistakes.”

Fiji plays Samoa in the play-off match tomorrow with the winner tussling with the victorious team between Trinidad and Tobagao and Scotland for the ninth spot.
