The Jet Runners Athletics Club from Nadi will be holding its first ever Fun Run of the year this Saturday.

The four-kilometre run will start at McDonalds Nadi turn at Wailoaloa Beach and finish at McDonalds.

Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports, Ilisea Delana will be the chief guest for the run with Nadi Special School having confirmed nine runners for the event.

Primary and secondary school athletes will also take part and secondary school athlete will use this run as a build up for the Coca-Cola Games.

National champion, Avikash Lal, will also take part as build up for Pacific Games to be held in Papua New Guinea in July.
