FSSRU visits Nabou accident site

The Fiji Secondary School Rugby board members paid a visit to the Nabou accident site yesterday to show their respect to the victims.

FSSR Executive, Biu Colati says their executives in the West will visit the families of those who were involved in the accident and provide them with monetary assistance.

“We came first to Nabou. We paid respect there and laid our wreath there and we observed a minute of silent there and all the executives were there. We even visited the family of the two boys that were unfortunately killed in the accident and we presented our reguregu to both the families.”

He says the horrific accident did not only affect the families of the victim but it also affects the rugby community as the incident happened prior to the Powerade Super Deans semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Cuvu College faces Ratu Kadavulevu School at 4.40pm tomorrow in the Under-18 final.

While, the Under 14 final sees RKS playing Queen Victoria School at 8.30am.
The Under 15 final between RKS and Lelean Memorial School starts at 9.50am.
In the Under 16 final, QVS battles RKS at 11.20am.
In the Under 17 final QVS meets LMS at 12.45pm while the Under 19 final will have RKS playing LMS at 3pm.

All games will be played at the ANZ Stadium.
