Fiji Rugby Union will be checking Ratu Cakobau Park tomorrow to see if the venue could be used for the Digicel Cup semi-final.

Fiji Rugby Union official Aporosa Tuqovu says this will have to be done as they do not want a repeat of Saturday, when they had to call off the game.

He says if it’s not ready by Weddnesday, then they will look at other venues.

Meanwhile Nausori Town Council Azam Khan says Council staff will have the ground ready by this week.

He says the ground has been in constant use after the National Stadium was closed for an upgrade.

Khan adds Ratu Cakobau Park does need an upgrade.

FRU will make decision on Wednesday after the ground inspection.
