Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connor says ninety-percent of the work has been done for the Fiji for 7s bid before they submit it to World Rugby.

O’Connor says they are in their final stage of preparing the bid.

He says they are leaving no stones unturned, giving World Rugby no excuse to say no to their bid in hosting a world 7s series.

“We have a bid that World Rugby will find it credible and have difficulties in saying no to it some that day. We are in our final stage of preparing the bid and we will send it once it’s ready.”

The FRU will send its bid to World Rugby on the 28th of this month.
