FRU terminates Male's contract

The Fiji Rugby Union has terminated the contract of Flying Fijians coach Inoke Male.

Male is amongst the five employees, whose contracts were today terminated effective immediately.

The FRU says it has begun the restructure of the union taking into consideration the financial constraints and the review by the International Rugby Board.

The FRU says they have made some positions redundant whilst the responsibilities of some positions have been absorbed by current staff and some positions will be re-advertised.

It further says they have implemented the termination clauses in their FRU contracts and will be paying the employees two to three months salary as part of the termination clause specified in their respective contracts.
