December 7, 2015 5:20 pm

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Radrodro Tabualevu spends his last day in office at the Rugby House today.

Being in position since July last year, Tabualevu achieved a lot with the Union.

During his tenure, the Vodafone Fiji 7’s side won their second ever World Seven’s Series title, qualified for the Olympic Games, the TFL Fijiana side qualified to be a core team on the Women’s Sevens Series circuit and of course the Vodafone Flying Fijians great outing at the recent Rugby World Cup.

Tabualevu says his best memories as the FRU CEO will be from the Rugby World Cup.

“Watching that scrum against England.Winning that tight head and Fiji scoring a try after that. That to me actually confirmed, we had arrived. We’ve always been there on the fringes, at times not fully confident of our efforts. That scrum in the opening game against England for me was perhaps the most satisfying time here in Fiji Rugby.”

Tabualevu resigned from his position last month due to personal reasons.
