Fifty extended players each for the National under 12, 13, and 14 teams have been selected to prepare for the Tonga tour later in the year.
These players were selected during the Vodafone Kaji Rugby tournament which ended yesterday at the ANZ Stadium.
Fiji Primary School Rugby Union Media Liaison Officer Kitione Turagabeci says the players will go through trial sessions before the final 25 squad from each grades selected to travel to Tonga.
“These players are from various districts who took part in the three day Kaji tournament. They have selected and the plan for their trials will be planned before the final teams are confirmed.”
Turagabeci says the Fiji Rugby Union together with the FPSRU will confirm the date of the trials and also the date of their travelling to Tonga in December.
Meanwhile, the Suva Blues teams dominated the Tier One competition winning all the Under 12, 13 and 14 respectively.
