Winning the Punjas Battle of the Giants title is secondary to Delta One Automotive Repairs Rewa football coach Marika Rodu.

The former national rep says his main priority at the moment is securing Rewa’s first ever Vodafone Premier League title.

After the first seven VPL rounds, Rewa is at the top of the table with 16 points followed by Ba with 15.

However, Rodu adds winning the BOG will be a bonus.

“For me winning the BOG is important but for the players it is I have a plan that I want to prepare for the national league which is important to me but I’ll come back to guide the players if they are interested in winning the BOG but they have to earn it”.

The VPL winner and runners up automatically qualifies for the OFC Champions League.
