The OFC Champions League opening clash between Lautoka and Morobe Wawens tomorrow is expected to be a crucial one.

Lautoka striker Samuela Drudru is expected to play a key role for the Blues.

Praneel Naidu, Dave Radrigai, Benjamin Totori, Shivam Naidu, Osea Vakatalesau and Sairusi Nalaubu have also been selected to feature for Lautoka.

The Blues’ side has been one of the consistent teams in the country and they’re hoping to make a winning start this year.

Lautoka football coach Kamal Swamy says his players will have to improve their performance if they are to win on their home ground.

“All the players need to perform and they need to lift up their performance. It will be difficult this year because every team wants to play against Lautoka and wants to be us.”
