We could have done better: Gamel

Fiji Football coach Christophe Gamel says there is a lot to be done despite their 3-0 win over New Caledonia in the FIFA International Friendly opener last night.

Gamel says the players made so many mistakes which could have cost them the game.

He says they need to eradicate their errors before taking on Mauritius on Sunday.

“The first half was not bad, but it wasn’t enough either in my opinion. The score is what it is, but we can develop better situations and our last touch or pass is always wrong.”

Fiji will take on Mauritius in its last Friendly International on Sunday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park at 3pm.
