The 2019 Vodafone Premier League kicks off next weekend  in the Western Division.

Fiji FA League Board met today and have decided that title holders Lautoka will host Tavua at 3pm at Churchill Park on Sunday and in the other match at the same time Nasinu plays Ba at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

League Board Chairperson, Yogeshwar Singh says they are planning to finish the league by August.

“We want to finish the league by August. We have planned the league in such a way that it finishes on time. We have to take it into account the national league commitment and the OFC Champions League.”

The official opening will be held on the 26^th of this month at Subrail Park before the match between host Labasa and Ba at 1.30pm.
